I recently got some product photography done, but every time I try to add an image to my website it comes up with an “Exceeds maximum image resolution of 20 MP” error.
Is there any way that I can fix this so I can upload my images?
Thanks!

Shopify has set limits for images of 4472 by 4472 pixels (20 Megapixels) and file sizes of up to 20 MB.
Try resizing them via Shopify’s image resizer and upload them once again.

Hello, I am the photographer of the company https://owdt.com/ and And sometimes I run into this problem.
there are a few ways to fix this issue so that you can upload your product images to your website. Here are some suggestions:
Resize your images: You can use image editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or online tools like Canva to resize your images to a lower resolution. This will reduce the file size and allow you to upload them to your website.
Compress your images: Another option is to compress your images using an image compression tool like TinyPNG or JPEGmini. This will reduce the file size without compromising on the image quality.
Use a different image format: Sometimes, using a different image format such as JPG instead of PNG can help reduce the file size and allow you to upload the image to your website.
Hi there,
Thanks so much for the advice it’s really appreciated!
