Why can't I upload new product images on my page?

Hi,

Can someone help me, am trying to upload new images of the new products to my page but the system wont let me. No error is appearing or anything. I hit the add file in media but nothing is happening.

Don’t know what could be the problem, am so frustrated.

Please help!!!

I’d love to hear more about what kind of business you have and what type of products do you sell?

In regards to uploading new images to products within the Products > Media section, have you tried using a different device? Since you mentioned there are no error messages when trying to upload images > add file, I would try using a different desktop computer, laptop or mobile device to see if you’re still experiencing this upload error.

Just to confirm, are you following the steps within this help doc: Adding product media to ensure you’re adding media to your products correctly?

Another option is to completely clear your cookies and cache. This step can eliminate saved information from the browser providing errors. After clearing your cookies and cache, log into your store and retry adding new images within the Media section.

Secondly, I recommend using a different internet browser and opening an incognito window, as this will eliminate the browser or version of the browser providing errors. You can also try launching your store within the Shopify Mobile App. This will help us determine if this is a device based or web based issue.

I have the same issue on my website. I click on upload an image and nothing is happening…

I am using Page fly and I still got the same issue. Page fly support told me that has nothing to do with them..

I tried everything from the shopify admin and the média section. I also
tried from pagefly builder but nothing is working.
I am really desperate because nothing is working since a few days …

Have you already had a chance to reach out to our Live Support directly? Our Support can be accessed via chat, email, or scheduling a call-back for phones. The reason I suggest this is that our Support team can have a closer look within your admin to see if there are any error messages present and try to replicate the issue you’re experiencing.

How to contact Live Support:

  • Navigate to our Contact Support page.

  • Select your store and proceed to the following page where you’ll type in a topic and click Search.

  • Once redirected to the following page, scroll down to Get Support and select Continue.

  • You’ll then be presented options to contact our support team.

I’m trying to do the same thing, upload images to a new product listing and it click add file and it does nothing. I need to get these products listed, what am I to do next? Don’t see where shopify has given any help on this thread…
