Why can't I use all font weights in the Debut Theme?

Hello,

I’m trying to use a different font weight other than the two selected. I tried to manually add all font-weights through root.

However, it doesn’t seem to recognize any of the other font-weights. For example, Open Sans has 300, 400, 600, 700, and 800 on Shopify.

Left is 600 (SemiBold) selected through Shopify admin, right is manually selected with (–font-body-weight-600). Any solutions?
