Why can't my customers access my ecommerce site?

My site has been up and running for about a month now and have received and processed ordered. However, one of my customer reached out with an issue making a purchase. They had to register again, add items back to cart, now can’t access the page. I was sent a screenshot of the below:

I purchased the domain outside of Shopify, but was later transferred to Shopify. When looking under Shopify managed domains it says “setup in progress”.

Hey @Tiffme22 .

Thanks for reaching out.

I appreciate the context that you have shared around the issue with the domain as that is very helpful! If you have transferred your third-party domain to your Shopify store, it can take up to a maximum of 20 days to have the domain transferred to your online store. With that being said, if the domain is displaying the status of setup in progress we may need to wait a bit in order to have the domain successfully transferred to your online store.

As a reminder, you can have the online store available to all of your customers once again while this domain is pending a transfer. You will just need to navigate to Online store > Domains and choose to make your .myshopify.com URL the default domain for your store. This change should allow your customers to load in successfully to your store and make purchases.

Since we cannot authenticate you over our community forums, I am unable to look into the specific DNS settings for the domain that is in question. I would suggest logging into your store using our Contact Us page as this will allow us to securely verify you as the store owner before discussing the domain with a Support Advisor.

Let me know if you have any questions.
