I have a new Shopify store. I ordered a couple of items myself just to check out the quality I ordered a three-piece suit that came with.. a top.. a bottom and a cardigan . I got the top and the bottom but no cardigan???and in a totally different color ..what’s up with that? Is this what my customers can expect from my store through Shopify???
Thank you for reaching out to the community forums with your feedback about a dropshipper you were using for your new store. It is unfortunate to hear that they ended up not being a reliable provider for you.
Testing out your suppliers is always a great idea so that you can see how well they fulfill the orders being placed with them. Each vendor is unique and that means that some may not be as good or as reliable as others. If you are importing goods through Oberlo/Aliexpress, I would recommend using the Google Chrome extension for importing products from Aliexpress so that you can search for highly rated vendors that carry the products you want to sell.
Feel free to share the vendor you ordered from here so that other merchants will know that they may not be the best to use.

Wow.. that’s it?? I got ripped off purchasing from my own store. I’m scared to death of frustrating and disappointing customers. I don’t want to be responsible for causing anyone to feel what I’m feeling right now. Ripped off and money gone.

While Shopify provides merchants with the ability to import products from dropshipping vendors through platforms like Aliexpress, Printful, Printify, Eprolo and more, we don’t directly manage the suppliers themselves. This was an unfortunate situation to find out that this supplier may not be reliable. We recommend communicating with your suppliers to return unwanted products and to ensure that they are able to fulfill the orders you are placing with them effectively and in a timely manner.
I would recommend reaching out in our Wholesale and Dropshipping section of our forums to get some additional insight from other merchants and who they are using for their products: Wholesale and Dropshipping.
