HI there,
I have a similar issue here. My store is based in the UK and mainly target customers from the UK. The store link is: https://missandtrendy.co.uk/
It is been almost a year now, since launching the store. Mindset that my marketing strategy is based on SEO, therefore customers issued from organic search only. Well, after 3-4 months of launching the store, I started receiving orders. I would then monitor the analytic stats to understand my customers behaviours. I realised that 1 out 5 customers from the UK visiting my store from Google search would place an order on their very first visit and I would actual get 5 visit max/per day, which is very little but satisfying for a start as the store was converting very well. 1 out of 5 is a 20% conversion rate, meaning, ( Appealing products, good UX design and customer service) from my understanding. Correct me if I am wrong please. I’ll appreciate it.
By the way, I have to mention that, I never received a single complain inbox or by phone from my converted customers or even a returned item. The only case is a customer that bought an out of stock item from the store. I issued the refund straight away, explained the situation to him by mail and apologised. The customer then visited the website again by own initiative the next day, chose and bought a different item from the store successfully. Great!
Now the issue is that. All of a sudden. After almost 4 months of receiving few visits and converting high (1 out 5 customer placing orders). My store stopped selling exactly on the 15/07/2022. I have not received a single order since then, besides that I am getting almost no traffic from the UK.
I have been working hard on SEO and can find my store on google with several decent long tail relevant niche keywords such as:

Actions taken:
- I have tried to be calm and monitor the situation, but I still can’t find where the issue comes from. I contacted Shopify to double check my store. They could not find anything weird either.
- I have even reverted my store version to 1 week before the last order happens. Still nothing has changed.
- Double checked the checkout. Everything is on point.
- Looked for bad reviews. Nothing showing up
My question is: Since, I am outsourcing my store developer from India. Should I be worried about this? I always used the same developer since day one.
The second question: Have you found a solution for your store?
Sorry for the long message
Please let me know
Thank you!
Mathieu
Important notice:
Bear in mind that I knew 100% that I cannot count on returning customer and I am selling a branded product with my supplier brand on it and that the actual suppliers is selling cheaper than me online. Besides that sunglasses are meant to last long. Therefore, returning customers are not a priority from my marketing strategy.
