On the bottom of my product page my social Icons have disappeared and are just showing up as white boxes now I have no idea why it happened. I had someone help me with my site speed and it happened after that. Please let me know if you have any ideas.
I would contact whoever worked on your site, they’ll be most knowledgeable on how to fix it.
If that’s not possible, share your url here, someone might be able to identify the problem from the outside.
My guess is that you are either missing the images (most likely in your Assets folder), or there is a problem with the code where it’s not linking to the correct resource.
If someone was doing site speed optimization, another possibility is that they incorrectly configured lazy loading, and the images aren’t loading. In that case, you just need to adjust the code for those social icons to load the images (I wouldn’t lazy load these anyway, they’re small enough they don’t affect performance, and probably will be above the fold on at least some screens).

I appreciate the context that you have shared, could you let us know which theme you are using? If you are unsure about which theme is live on your store, you can navigate to the Theme Editor and select the three dots that are located in the top left of the page. I took a screenshot from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:
Since the social icons seem to only not appear on the product page, that makes me think that it is the coding of the theme that could be causing the icons to not display.
