Hi guys. I tried hard to bring my store speed upto 60. After I installes transcy translation app my speed went down to 28. When I use Pagespeed seems like the biggest problem is something else.
I also dont know what google gtag has 5 different java scripts.

Hello @Scherri5 ,
I am Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $6Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot.
I checked your store speed.
For desktop, your store has a 93 speed score which is great.
However, your store’s mobile speed is 32 only.
If you have already identified that the Transcy translation app is not the main cause of the speed issue, and you’re seeing a significant difference between desktop and mobile speeds, there are a few potential reasons for the slower mobile speed.
-
Mobile-specific optimizations
Ensure that your website is optimized for mobile devices. Use responsive design techniques to adapt the layout and content for different screen sizes. Optimize font sizes, button sizes, and other elements to improve the mobile user experience.
-
Mobile-specific resources
Check if there are any specific resources (e.g., images, videos, scripts) that are being loaded on mobile but not on desktop. Mobile devices may have limited processing power and slower internet connections, so minimizing the number and size of resources can improve mobile speed.
-
Network-related issues
Mobile devices may have slower internet connections compared to desktops. Consider implementing techniques like lazy loading, which defers the loading of non-critical resources until they are needed, thus improving initial page load times.
-
Caching
Verify that caching is properly configured for mobile devices. Caching can significantly improve speed by storing static resources locally on the user’s device, reducing the need for repeated downloads.
Regarding the Google gtag and the multiple JavaScript files, it’s important to understand the purpose of each script. Google gtag is Google’s global site tag that enables various tracking and measurement functionalities. The multiple JavaScript files might be related to different tracking events or configurations set up in your Google Ads or Analytics account.
To better understand the specific purpose of each gtag script and determine if any redundant or conflicting scripts exist, consult the documentation of the Transcy app or reach out to the app’s support team for clarification. They should be able to provide guidance on how the app integrates with the Google gtag and help identify any potential issues related to the script implementation.
In summary, focus on mobile-specific optimizations, review the resources being loaded on mobile, address network-related issues, and ensure that caching is appropriately set up. If you still have concerns about the Google gtag scripts, consult the Transcy app’s support team for further assistance.
I hope this information proves useful.
