I started this web and it was really good and working very well with traffic and sale started to go well. Then facebook had to verify me and after the verification, my trafic dropped. I once had 90 user a day and then fell to 50, then 40, and today we are around 20… Does anyone why this happens?
I saw some other post about it, but there were no answers. Does anyone know now?

Have gone through your request which I would like to tell you the two things that can cause sudden drop in Traffic and Sales.

STOPING AT ALMOST: you might have doing somethings like maybe frequent Promotion, marketing, site optimization and so on but stopped all of a sudden when you did Facebook verification and you might not know that some little things that you did or someone else did for you usually helps in driving TRAFFIC and increase of SALES but when you cease to do it then your site Traffic and Sales will start to decrease.

SELLING OF OVERPOPULATED NICHE: When you sell overpopulated products there’s probability that your site Traffic and Sales will start to decrease. For example, 10,000 people are based on a single product, before only 500 people are on it but when people sees that it’s a trending and wining product, they all rushed to it whereas not everyone is gonna make SALES. Those making before their income will be reduced. So to overcome this type of Situation all you have to do is to find a good Social Media Marketer and do some COMPETITOR RESEARCH based on your Niche, this really helps a lot in Marketing Field. connecting to facebook actually helps in growing your store..But there is the chance that you have been posting most common products those are displayed by many shopify user so i recommend you to go for unique items to generate traffic.
Which source is the dropping traffic from? (Social, organic, referral,…)

I’m going through the same situation. My sales dropped by 90% after I got a verification email from meta. Sales on all channels have done nothing but to decrease after this message was triggered.
Did you manage to recover your regular site traffic and sales? What actions could you recommend?
