Why did Shpoify remove the overview page? And deleted the stores from the left side bar?

We are a multi store owner (9 stores) and using Shopify Plus.

We are totally not happy about the last “improvements” regarding multiple stores.

  1. Moving all the stores from the left side bar to the upperright. We have to click there (see only 5 stores), then select all the stores and the select the store. All our stores at the left side bar was perfectly working for us.

  2. Why remove the overview page with all our stores. This was one page we use constantly to see our revenues / orders from all our stores at one. Very important to keep an eye on it. if revenue was behind, we start checking if ther where no errors from our part.
Using analytics in each individual store is not a solution at all.

I made a ticket and it is forwarded to development and the will take a look.
My question is: Are there more multi store owners which are not happy with the changes above?

If yes, please give a comment or better, please raise a ticket also

Kind regards,
Maurice

Extremely unhappy to see the ‘all stores’ summary page disappear. I spent an hour or so trying to figure out what happened.

I used to have this page open all day to keep tabs on things. Now, I understand the same information is present inside “Analytics” in the small top widget, but mine does not refresh (despite hitting “auto-sync”, and it just doesn’t feel as comfortable.

I’m really disappointed to see these changes roll out with seemingly no consideration to the needs of store operators. Why not just enhance the all store summary page? That’s what I thought was going to happen.
