Support feedback is mixed: some were told it cannot be changed back; others claim it could be reverted but isn’t. Users request restoring the sales summary panel, order swiping, and clearer customer metrics on mobile.
A large Shopify Plus merchant (enterprise tier) with ~50 sales channels across 4 stores (paying about $12k/month) says tracking is now impractical without the dashboards. One report raises a separate concern that OrgAdmin (organization admin tooling) access seems reassigned despite features being active.

Why did Shopify remove the summary of the stores on the right hand side of the admin homepage. We have multiple stores and now to check each store we have to use the dropdown box, select one store, write it down, click the next store, write it down etc, then work out the difference between the stores manually. We have 4 sales channels and we like to have competitions between each. Its gone from a 2 second glance to a 5 minute job to check sales. Then on the mobile app it is impossible to check how many customers the store has unless i go into reports. It only shows the dollar amount for a store.
It was perfect the way it was and there is plenty of realestate to leave it on the page.
Yes, I agree. Everyone hates it! Support said they couldn’t change it back. Now I realized I can’t swipe thru orders on the app anymore. They’re giving me a list of reasons to jump ship.
Can someone from Shopify please put in the request to put the sales summary back on the right hand side? The new dashboard is pretty much exactly the same as it was but without the important information, the sales summary. This is a nightmare if a store has more that one sales channel. Especially if I dont have access to my PC. Its almost impossible to see how many customers a store has had unless on a PC.
It seems like access to the OrgAdmin (package name) features have been allocated to someone else or provisioned for an internal project. The functions are still active on the accounts but for some reason our access to the tools has been removed. The apps are still active but someone else has OrgAdmin access to our accounts. Not sure what is going on. Very unsettling.
We have about 50 sales channels on 4 Plus platforms.. Being hit for about $12k per month from Shopify even though it is impossible for us to track all 50 stores without the 4 dashboards..
Please tell the person doing the design work that store owners sometimes have more than one shop. Now it is actually impossible to check how our stores are going on the iphone shopify app. Not just a few extra steps to check each stores progress for the day, but impossible. Shocking upgrade!
