In the past under the “or” section of the checkout cart there used to be a row of various credit card icons, right above the Contact Information. As Shopify made some updates and changes, all of them vanished and I’ve not found a way to bring them back.
When the buyer goes to the cart they see only Shop Pay, Google Pay and Paypal.
I think these limited icons confuse buyers and cause a higher than necessary cart abandonment. They think the shop only accept these payment options, and if they don’t have them they can’t finalize their purchase…
