Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen. I was reviewing my abandoned carts today and I can see about 100 abandoned carts by one person and about 50 from another. Hardly anyone else. Since our sales seem to have decreased, I was wondering if there could be a problem stemming from that.

Since you are noticing this behaviour from just two different accounts, it sounds like they could be bots or spam accounts that don’t actually affect your store or sales, but they do clog up your abandoned carts list.
I would recommend you take a look into this just to see if they have anything in common - go to your Orders > Abandoned carts and click into an order from each of those customers. Check the Customer section on the right hand side to see if you can find any similarities, i.e. email address, location, name etc.
Based on this, you might find what you should be looking for with these kinds of customers, and I would then recommend you look into an app like our Fraud Filter app which can be used to block already known customers, as well as create custom filters which will prevent orders like this in future.
You mentioned that sales seem to have decreased for you - could you tell me a little bit more about this and how you observed it? It is totally normal to see sales fluctuate, - this is an opportunity to take a look at what you were doing when your sales were at your peak, what works, what does not work etc. I have a great Shopify Blog article for you here on how you can improve your store to increase sales here.
