Question; How come images uploaded to metafield definitions turn out so small and low quality? Is there a way to work around this?
I am using the metafields as a way for customers to download extra information files regarding the product itself, and sometimes use JPG’s.

How did you show the Images like with code or just the theme dynamic option?
I use the dynamic option, which I believe is the option underneath a product when you go in to edit its details.
And then I upload the images to the section that fits.
It looks like this on the website, and is called “Downloads”
But when you click the JPG, it shows up like this, regardless prior size.
Is this simply due to the nature of dynamic metafields?
No, If you used the theme option to show the meta-filed image it should show the original size of the image
if you can share the product page URL I can check what Image size is generating
