Why do permalinks only work in incognito mode?

Hi there.

Working off Shopify’s Create cart permalinks article, I’ve created the following permalink:

http://ahimsa-home-usa.myshopify.com/cart/43007747784948:1

The first time I used this permalink, it worked. I was taken straight to checkout with the product variant. But every subsequent time, the link has not worked and I get taken to a Shopify ‘something has gone wrong’ page.

I’ve tried to clear my cart, and then click the link, but that hasn’t worked. BUT, when I use the link in an incognito tab, it works like a charm.

I reckon I am running across an issue to do with cookies.

Does anyone have any idea?

Please clear your browser cookies and caches. Yes, I have this problem as well

Do you have any idea why this is happening? If I knew why this happened, I
could determine if it is going to affect customers.

I notice it when I signed in on the Shopify Admin page. It is because of the cookies and caches. I don’t think the customer will get affected on it since it only happens when I am signed in the Shopify Admin
