Why do product syncing errors occur between Shopify, Amazon and eBay?

Hello fellow shopifiers,

Just wanted to ask anyone who has started out on Shopify looking to sell on Ebay, Amazon.

Why are there so many errors when it comes to syncing products between Shopify to Ebay or Shopify to Amazon.

3rd party apps are supposed to make the process easier, especially when you have to pay a monthly subscription.

What should be a simple process seems a lot harder than it needs to be.

If there’s anyone who can support my short comings or if you can recommend a shopify freelancer who can help set this facility up. please let me know. I would forever grateful.

I have an app for synching products/inventory and orders between multiple shopify stores and from my development experience, it is a bit of a pain because of few reasons

The Shopify API call limits per second

Different platforms require different sort of data

but once you figure out all these details, it is a piece of cake.
