Our products have a GTIN however there is an error saying that certain products haven’t been recognised because they require a GTIN or MPN- do we need a MPN if we have a GTIN?

If you’ve included a GTIN within the product, it’s not required to also include an MPN.
Are the products marked as custom within the Google fields, or not marked as custom? You can check this in bulk by going to the Google sales channel > Product listings > Manage availability. From there, under the Custom product column, your products should be set to False if they require a GTIN.
If the products have been marked as False, you can check that the barcodes you are using are valid using this barcode lookup tool. If they are valid, you can navigate to your Google Merchant Centre Account (GMCA) and head to Products > All Products section. Under the GTIN column, you can check to see if there are any products or variants with a blank GTIN. If this is the case, this means that the GTIN has not synced over from Shopify over to your GMCA, and you can reach out to our Support Team so that we can take a closer look at this on our end.
