My customer, whom is a repeat customer, is attempting to input a debit card that has been used on 4 previous orders. We’ve confirmed the card number, expiration, cvv, and billing multiple times. After looking into the situation and speaking with the shop payment team, a Shopify customer representative informed me they determined that the customer needs to speak with her bank. She spoke with them twice and after investigating, they informed her that it was not on their end. I’m at a loss and not sure why this is occurring. Any solutions are extremely appreciated.
The customer needed to try another card, because the issue can only be from the customer’s bank not your store
Either the bank error or please check with your customer if they are trying to use Amex cards, which doesn’t work on Shopify checkout. For more details please check this thread
