Hi, I have a problem with checkout. I can’t add 2 or more products in the bag when someone adds the second product the first disapears.
Share the url and password if required.
Hi, @atmospherehere .
Thanks for reaching out and posting to the Shopify Community.
Are you able to share your store URL so we can try and replicate the issue? Additionally, could you provide more information on the following:
- When did the issue first occur?
- Were any recent changes made to your theme, any newly installed apps etc?
- Does this happen when adding specific products to the cart or all products?
- Are customers able to replicate the issue?
- Have you tried it on a different device, browser or incognito window?
- Have you tried installing a fresh Shopify theme and testing the cart to see if the issue persists?
I look forward to your reply and learning more.

If I install a new theme shoud I start from scratch
Thanks for your reply and for sharing further context, @atmospherehere .
You mentioned that the app GemPages was recently installed. Could you share if the checkout was functioning as expected prior to installing the app? Could you also advise what theme you’re currently using?
When installing a fresh theme, you do not need to start from scratch. You can install a free theme from the Shopify Theme Store which will be added to your theme library. I’ll share the step-by-step process below on how to add and test a free theme from Shopify. This method will help us determine if the issue carries out on a fresh theme or if it’s directly related to your current theme.
Adding a free Shopify theme to your store to preview it:
-
From your Shopify admin, head to Online Store > Themes section.
-
Scroll down to Popular Free Themes section and click Add next to a Shopify theme.
-
Or, click Visit Theme Store to view other theme options.
-
Once you’ve added a theme, it will appear in your Online Store > Themes > Theme library section.
-
Next, click the 3 dots next to your theme and select Preview. We do not want to publish the theme as we are only previewing it to see if the issue persists.
Please let us know how the above steps have worked for you. If you’d like to share your store URL in this thread, we can work together to see if the issue displays on my end.
This is my store URL
Thank you, I found the solution!
