so it seems a lot of other people have had this issue and I cannot figure out any reason why other than it being an issue on Shopify’s end. I’m trying to upload some simple jpegs, like less than a MB each. Trying to upload just one at a time from my computer results in the failure message, along with trying to upload from a URL… EXTREMELY INCONVENIENT TIMING!!! I need to get this fixed and working ASAP so if anyone’s got any fixes let me know!
Check the images for errors or incorrect file extension i.e. the are actually PNG or webp files but have been change improperly to .jpg or .jpeg
If compression was involved this could be the culprit as well, but also the solution as sending an image back through the compression|optimization process may solve the issue.
Otherwise you may need to get more technical
