today I noticed that when I click on the add to cart button, there appears an 404 page not found error.
How can I fix this? Please help.

Without being able to see your store, it’s difficult for me to establish exactly what is happening. If you could please share your store URL I will be able to take a much closer look.
There are several reasons that can result in “404 Page Not Found”. One of the main reasons is due to content being removed. When the content on a site has been deleted or moved to another URL the link or URL will no longer exist on your site when your site visitors clicked on it.
Have you made any adjustments to your theme code recently?

thank you for your quick response. My site’s URL is https://www.komot.si/. I use the Brooklyn theme.
I haven’t made any significat modifications to the theme code recently. Probably last adjustment were done 1 month ago. I really do not know what is wrong. I also noticed in the left up corner of the side that an Liquid error appeared: Liquid error: Could not find asset snippets/avada-back-to-stock-status.liquid. I do not know if it has to do something with the add to cart error.
I would really appriciate if you could help me with this matter.

I have been trying to solve the problem, browsing trough past discussions, I checked again the code if there is a problem, but with no success. Can anybody help me with this matter :-)?

Did you try to install Dawn theme and check, it works fine?
I checked and it seems to be caused by some app about your cart, don’t you do anything with cart.js it will all call “/sl”
So instead of going to komot.si/cart it goes to komot.si/sl/cart and this gives a 404 error

Do you use an app called Avada by any chance @Eliella ? I suggest removing this app and seeing if this fixes the liquid error.

I decided to try with the Dawn theme, and luckily is works and the problem with the missing cart page is gone! It took me some time to build it, and to settle everithing, but it was worth. I am very satisfied with this new theme, it is better than the older one.

yes I am using the AVADA app called AVA trust badges, sales pop and I was satisfied with it until now. It seems it does not work with the dawn theme. I tried to add payment badges, but with no success. Maybe I am doing something wrong. Do you suggest some other application that will work fine with the Dawn theme?

Are you referring to badges like the ones shown below @Eliella ?
If so, I’ll do some digging on the App Store and come back to you with some suggestions!
By the way, it looks like this AVA app has 24/7 Livechat Support so you could always have a chat with them to ensure you were implementing the badges correctly.

yes these are the ones :). I need to add this badges, I had them before with the Brooklyn theme. Now I have to add them again. I’ll contact AVA staff to help me.
