Why does my banner image quality drop in full screen mode on Shopify?

Hello, I’m fairly new to Shopify but have some experience. I’m slightly confused as when I view my "image banner photo in desktop view the quality is overall decent. But when I go into full-screen mode the quality drops dramatically. Any help ?

Would also love some advice on the store so far and any improvements would be appreciated. It is not finished as of yet

On the customize section it has 3 options. The full screen mode I’m talking about is in that drop down
