Why does my customer's credit card get declined at checkout?

hello guys , I just made my new shop but i have a serious issue . Every time my customer go to the checkout to make the payment with his credid card it says : Your card was declined ! Can someone help me to solve this issue ;

hi @Panos4 did you check if you have configured the payment gateway correctly which payment gateway you are using? have you done a test transaction ?

Do you have multiple customers reporting issues with checking out of your store, or was this one report from this customer? The reason why I ask is because a card decline issue could be a customer specific issue, and not indicative of a larger issue with your checkout.

hi @Imogen_1 , thank you very much for replying to me . I just started my shop and I want to make a first test purchase from my friends credit card and I am sure that there is no problem with his VISA credit card . But as i said in the checkout it declines his card .

hi @vinods , thank you very much for replying to me . The payment gateway I use is the STRIPE because I dont have a paypal and i dont want to create one . Yes so you can do that add the stripe payment gateway in backend in shopify then make sure you have added the correct secure key of stripe which will be give by stripe specifically to your stripe merchant account.
Can you help me understand where is your store located ? The reason i am asking maybe you will not need stripe too you will just be fine with Shopify Payments

Can you pls give your store url too or and also share the screenshot of payment section so i can check
