Hi all!
For some unknown reason, the product pages on my store (only the product pages) is “glitchy”, when you’re on mobile. It looks fine in the mobile preview, but on the active store, if you scroll down to a certain point, the whole screen “glitches” and “jumps” - which I’d really like to get rid of. I’ve tested this on both an iPhone 6 and an iPhone 13 Pro Max (it’s worse on the 13 Pro Max). My guess is that either it’s somehow the address bar, on Safari, that glitches the page when scrolling up or down (which doesn’t make sense because the “glitch” only occurs on the product pages). Or, it might be because the product images aren’t fixed, in the desktop version, but remains viewable when scrolling down through the description. And on mobile, the image position is fixed. - Those are my best bets, but I really have no clue! ?
Any help is greatly appreciated! I hope you all have a lovely day!
Thanks for reaching out in our Community forums and for sharing your concern, I’d be happy to help.
I was able to view the product page that you linked on store on an iPhone 11 and did not experience any jumps or glitches. In order to investigate further, are you able to confirm if you made any changes to your theme’s code recently, or added any apps that appear on your product page recently? A conflict here may be causing this issue.
If removing an app or installing a fresh copy of your theme does not resolve the issue, we can continue troubleshooting. Are you able to clarify when these glitches occur? Do they consistency happen once you scroll down to an exact point? Also, have you had a chance to try this on two separate browsers like Google Chrome and Safari?
My next suggestion is to review your store’s theme and consult your theme developer. If you are using a third-party theme so you can contact your theme developer to learn more about factors that are affecting your mobile view. If you are using a Shopify theme, our team may be able to take a closer look. Feel free to reach out to our Help Center and we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback.

Hi, Mac!
Thank you so much, for taking the time to reply! I haven’t added any custom code to the product page and I’ve tried removing the apps that appear on the product page, which didn’t help. The webshops is my business partner’s, so I am actually unsure of what theme the webshop is using. And yes I’ve tried this on both Safari and Goole Chrome, and I believe that the actual problem is when the address bar pops up or down. When it does, the whole screen “jumps” - however this only happens on the product page. I’ve added a screen recording to this reply, so you can get a visual of what I’m referring to (as you can see, the screen “jumps” when the address bar slides up or down). I hope it’s helpful. Thank you!
Based on the screen recording, I believe that you are correct. The issue persists on the product page when the address bar on the browser moves positions. This could definitely be related to the recent IOS update and it appears that the theme would need to be optimized to support this change. In this case, your business partner would need to reach out to our Help Center to create a support request. From there, our team will be able to contact the theme developer on your behalf and work towards a solution.
If you have a custom theme or this customization is not supported, I recommend speaking with Shopify Experts. This is a marketplace that connects you to professionals in a variety of fields related to your e-commerce business.
