I’ve created my Shopify store 3 days ago but it was blocked, I thought I’ve added false information about myself so I created new one yesterday. In my new account I was choosing only real information about me and my store but it was blocked as well.Do somebody know the reasons for this?
Topic summary
Main issue: A newly created Shopify store is repeatedly blocked for “Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)” violations despite the owner claiming accurate personal/store information.
- Timeline: First store created 3 days ago was blocked. A second store made the next day, with only real information, was also blocked for AUP violation.
- Store details provided: Owner says they only added products (t‑shirts and compression shirts) and had not even set up a payment method before the block occurred.
- Community inquiry: Another participant asked for more specifics (niche, products) and raised possibilities such as prohibited/illegal items or use of fraudulent programs.
- Owner response: Reiterated products are t‑shirts/compression shirts; requested help understanding the block.
Current status: No confirmed cause identified; no resolution or official guidance shared. The thread remains open with a request for more store details to diagnose the AUP trigger. No images or attachments are central to the discussion.
