Why does my online store display 'This site can't be reached'?

Every time try to view my online store it says “This site cant be reach”. Im pretty sure my domains are ok but if anyone has had this problem before or can help me I’d appreciate it. My store is www.expresstreeco.com

Thank you for sharing your store URL for us to check. I had a look and I can confirm that at this time the domain does not have any DNS propagated. You can check this yourself by following this link and searching for your store URL: DNS Lookup - Check DNS Records.

If the domain is less than 48 hours old, this can be expected. DNS records take time to update, and we usually recommend waiting 48 hours after the last change to confirm if the domain is loading properly.

Did you purchase your domain through Shopify directly? If yes, please reach out to our live support through this link: Contact Support.

If you purchased your domain through a third party, please ensure that your domain DNS information is setup as per our instructions located here: Connect your third-party domain to Shopify manually · Shopify Help Center.

Hi Shay,

my website says “SITE CANT BE REACH”. Hope you can help me. My website is www.giftnbeyond.shop.

Thank you for sharing your store URL for me to check as well.

When I reviewed the domain’s DNS settings I can see that there is an incorrect A record and CNAME record being reported.

The domain has an A record pointing to 34.98.99.30.

The A record should be name/type [email removed] and the IP address “23.227.38.65”

The domain has a CNAME record pointing to giftnbeyond.shop.

The cname record should be name/type www and the value is shops.myshopify.com

You will also want to ensure there is only 1 A record in the dns list. All other A records need to be removed. You can have multiple CNAME records, etc so long as the one with the WWW type points to the Shopify URL.

Don’t hesitate to share a screenshot of your DNS list (hiding other sensitive information) if you need help reviewing it.
