What does it mean when it says fulfillment pending.

Suppose the items have a fulfillment service, and the status is set to pending. This usually means that the fulfillment service gets notified of pending fulfillments and starts processing them. Once the fulfillment services finish processing the order, the new status will show fulfilled.
