I’m using Printful mock-up images but they have a visual artefact on my site. The mock-up images are fine on my computer, fine in the Shopify editor, but then have this compression artefact on the preview image for the product on the backend and on my storefront.
I’ve tried using png at maximum resolution but it is still there.
I wasted 2 hours on a useless live chat and now I have to wait for someone to voluntarily help me. The live chat operator suggested I post here or hire an expert? All I want is for the shopify store I pay for to not ruin my images on upload? Why should I pay for an expert to fix something I’m already paying for? Is this what it’s always like? XD
I’ve done it at maximum resolution in multiple file formats and nothing fixes it
use paid theme or Get help from Shopify Support team,

What guarantee do I have that the compression won’t ruin my images on a paid theme? Shopify support team as in the live chat?
I have just given the idea, for The guarantee Go to the Shopify theme or ask to the theme Support team,
Because i have fixed this issue for many time while using free to paid theme.

There must be a solution to this without paying a few hundred dollars for a theme which will probably give me other problems. I’ve already contacted support and they were useless
