There has been a weird glitch in the Shopify Search.
Whenever we type in any word, it automatically selects an item without any clicks.
Is there a way to fix this? or a possible reason why it is doing this?

Would you be able to share the URL to your store? As this context will allow us to take a closer look into the issue that is occurring.
Have you had any customers reach out to you about this? I would suggest attempting to clear the cache on your browser to see if that may fix the search function on the store. If the issue persists, you can attempt this action on another browser. As for example, if you are using Safari, try this on Google Chrome.

Yes, and it is definitely not the “clear the cache” problem because it happened to multiple people.
Could you check if this is something we have to fix with a developer?
We are using Prestige Theme at the moment.

Looking into the URL that you have provided, I can confirm that this issue is happening on my side as well. As I have inspected the navigation bar, this looks to be an issue with the themes coding. Since the Prestige theme is designed and supported by Maestrooo, it looks like the best bet would be best to reach out to them directly.
With that being said, you can reach out to their support through the Maestrooo Contact Us page and let them know of the issue you are experiencing with the search bar.
