Our customers have been getting emails from and sending them to the wrong email. In the SHOP app profile, it lists our Contact email as ajsport.ca instead of ajsports.ca. When I try to change this email to ajsports.ca and click save, after refreshing the page, the change does not save at all and returns to ajsport.ca
This is a major concern as we are not receiving incoming and outgoing emails correctly.
Anyone else have this issue?
NOTE: I am the IT for AJ Sports and am not the store owner. Although I do have permissions, they are not all permissions. Might this be an issue?

From what you’re describing, it sounds like you may not have the right permissions to make these changes. Aside from this, there are also different types of accounts for a Shopify store: Owner, Staff, and Collaborator.
Editing the email on the Shop profile is part of the more sensitive pieces of information for the store settings. This means that you may not have permission to do this if you’re not the account owner.
To check if you can change this email, I would recommend going to Settings > General and correcting the Customer email in there. This is the email address that the Shop App pulls for the profile. If you’re unable to change things there, you’ll need to request permissions from the account owner to do so.
I’d recommend speaking with the account owner to ensure they understand that these types of changes are recommended to keep secure and only allow the account owner profile to make these edits.
Since the business owner is actively taking steps to enhance their sales and conversions through the Shop App I would definitely also check visibility. To do this, just make sure that the business owner is ready to go live on Shop and follow the steps here to keep the store’s products visible on the app.
More product visibility on the app is a great way for your business owner to not only increase sales but to maintain customer loyalty. The app lets buyers save stores as favorites so this is a great place to ensure that the customer experience is seamless and products are all available on that app as well.
