When you go to the checkout page of my shopify store www.galactiglow.com the total price changes to a line of code when you edit the quantity. Can anyone tell me how to stop this?

My initial thoughts are this looks to be a theme issue, what theme are you using for your store, is it a Shopify theme or a third-party one? Or have you edited or customized any of the code in your store, perhaps in the currency formatting under setting → general area? Without viewing the code itself, it would be tough to determine the exact cause. There is also the potential of third-party applications causing this issue, do you utilize any apps that affect your product’s pricing or checkout? You have a couple of potential routes you can take with this issue that I would be happy to outline for you.

If you are using a third-party theme, I would recommend reaching out to your theme developers to look into this as soon as possible. If your theme developer is not able to help out, you could always reach out to a local developer or Shopify expert.

If you are using any third-party applications that you have recently removed or that’s purpose is to affect your product’s price or checkout in any way, I would recommend reaching out to said app developers to take a look.
A good way to test if an issue like this is caused by your theme is to check a fresh Shopify theme to check if the issue replicates there. You can test this by heading to Online store>Themes>Theme Library>Explore Free Themes then just select any Shopify theme, click Actions to preview that theme. Once you preview the fresh theme, you can see if the same issue replicates, this will help you determine if it is a theme-specific issue.

Thank you very much for the swift reply, Marty. The theme that I am using is the Debut V2 theme, so it’s third-party. I will definitely enquire about this to the developers and hopefully get some answers then. In the meantime, I will test it with other themes.
I have actually noticed that when I refresh the page, the code disappears! I’m not really sure what to do now haha

I do notice in the coding error that it looks specific to currency, as mentioned in my previous post. Have you customized any coding for your currency or are you utilizing any currency applications? If so, you may want to reach out to a local developer or Shopify Expert to take a look as this may not be something your theme developers would be able to help out with.
So I would recommend still reaching out to your theme developers first, as they are the ones who designed your theme. However, it’s worth investigating further if you are using an app or have implemented any coding yourself.

Heya. Turns out im just using the Debut theme on my store. Sorry for the confusion, but I still can’t seem to find a solution for this! It still does that code thing at the checkout.

It’s good to hear from you, sorry to hear you are still having this issue. As mentioned in my previous post, this could also be related to a third-party application. Are you using any currency apps for your shop, or have you deleted any currency applications recently? You also did not mention if you have manipulated your code in any way. Do you still notice the issue when you try a fresh/unpublished Shopify theme as per my original troubleshooting steps?
