Why does my sticky cart redirect to a new page instead of opening the drawer?

Hey guys.

I have a sticky cart on my store when you scroll down about 25% and it works great!

However, there is this weird behavior going on. Usually my checkout cart shows like a drawer (like in the 1st picture), but when I add an item to the cart using the sticky cart bar and only then, (like in picture 2) and then proceed to open the checkout cart again, it redirects me to a new site (like in picture 3) instead of opening the drawer.

I’m not sure what’s happening there and the app support is no help :(.

Could anyone help me? Its really frustrating.

To replicate the error: Just add an item using the stick add to car (not the normal one) then try opening the checkout drawer. It now should redirect you to a separate checkout page instead of opening the drawer.

@itsolidude12 I did the steps you mentioned to replicate the issue, but it doesn’t open the checkout drawer for me.

I have to click on the cart icon to go to the checkout page.

I waited about 15 secs for the drawer to open. But nothing.

And I don’t have any adblocker, blocking any scripts either.

Checked in incognito too.

The drawer comes up when I click on the normal add to cart button on the page.

I think there is a miss understanding :P.

Add a product using the add to cart button in the picture (1) and then press the checkout icon (img 2) It redirects you to a checkout page instead of opening the checkout drawer.

Edit: i think I miss understood lol. The idea is to NEVER go to a separate checkout page but for some reason it does after the sticky add to cart (when pressing the cart button)
