I keep getting a Secure connection failed error page when trying to view the store front, or when clicking on links within the store page when I do get it to load. I have no clue what I am doing wrong.
Hi, @gmfstyle .
Thanks for reaching out to the Shopify Community.
Could you share your store URL and a screenshot of the full error message for better visibility. I’d like to take a look at your DNS settings to ensure they reflect Shopify’s records.
A secure connection failed message may indicate security errors for your third-party domain. After connecting your third-party domain, it may take up to 48 hours for the TLS certificate to be issued. In the meantime, could you check the following information to ensure your domain is connected?
- Ensure the A record is 23.227.38.65.
- The CNAME record is shops.myshopify.com
- If you use an AAAA record, remove it.
- If you have DNSSEC enabled for your domain, then disable it.
We have additional information included in our enabling secure connections to your Shopify store resource.
Feel free to share additional questions you have here. I’d also like to hear more about your business and how you advertise your store online.
I do not have a screenshot at the moment but here is the URL and I do not understand why it’s not working at all, even when I go to google and type it in it doesn’t work.
Thanks for your reply, @gmfstyle .
When viewing your website from multiple browsers (Google & Safari) and devices (desktop and iOS device) I was able to view your storefront with no secure connection issues and click into your collection pages. Please see the screenshot below.
I’ve also gone ahead and checked your DNS records for your domain. Your domain points to Shopify and the A record is valid.
Are you still experiencing issues on your end? If so, please let us know what browser and device you’re using.
I look forward to your reply.
