Hi,
I have just selected a plan and want to start store set up asap. Why does it say my trial period has just begun, AGAIN? I don´t want to put any effort and later on may loose any inputs. Anyone can help me out here as newbie. Thanks a lot in advance.

Congrats on launching your new online store! I definitely understand your concern here and I want to assure you that your changes made to your online store are safe and secure and will not be removed, regardless of your plan status.
In regards to the plan showing as still in trial that will require our authenticated support to investigate. To access our authenticated support, please follow this link: Shopify Help Center. Next, you will want to follow the on screen prompts to sign in, choose your topic and issue and at the bottom of the help articles provided will be all available support options.

Thanks for your kind response. So what should I do now, just log in and start the set up process? My question whether it will ask again by end of the trial period, to choose a plan. I find it a but unclear from shopify, as I expect after choosing a plan you should get a confirmation and link to your page. But somehow it just stops right there after I put in chosen plan and payment.

I don´t have a wide range of products but rather one core product with some digital books/files as supplementary products, evt. gift. Would plan Basic meet my demand:

Blog
How many free themes are included? (12 themes as i saw in the trial version?)
Im on my way to set the store up now and realize the spotlight from the plan Starter is far beyond simple :(((

Yes, the Basic plan should provide all that you require. The Starter plan is designed for merchants who don’t really need an online store itself, but more the tools to market and sell their products through their existing social media and sales channels. It’s a great place for new merchants to get started. But it may not always be the right solution for everyone.
The Basic, Shopify and Advanced plans all offer the same core features and access. As you increase your plan subscription you unlock some specific functionality and additional discounts on processing fees, etc.
Currently Shopify offers 12 free themes, which can be found here: Free Ecommerce Website Templates.
