Why does shipping to a specific NZ address consistently fail?

I have a customer in NZ that orders every few months. Each time her address has problems, even though I have every zone in NZ checked in my zones.

I have other customers from NZ that order ok, I am stumped with why this happens each time?

Does anyone have a similar experience?

Thankyou,

Deb x

Hello @DebBrown ,

Without knowing the specific address and your settings, it will be difficult for anyone in the community to help you here.

If this is happening inconsistently, I mean if the same address works sometimes and not at other times, without you changing anything in the settings, then you may want to contact Shopify support.

If not, you may want to check out the steps here to ensure that your settings are correct.

Alternatively, if you would like to try NzPost Carrier Calculated at Checkout, then you may want to check out the PH Multi Carrier Shipping Label app. Mostly, with carrier-calculated rates, this issue will not occur; however, if it does occur, PluginHive Customer Support will be happy to assist you in diagnosing the issue.

Hi there, @DebBrown ! Thanks for taking the time to reach out to folks here in the Shopify Community with your question about your customer’s address! My name is Imogen. It’s good to meet you!

I’m sad to hear that this customer seems to have trouble completing their purchase with you so often! Do you know specifically what error they’re getting in your checkout that is preventing them from progressing? This would be helpful to anybody who comes by this thread later, so they can advise on potential steps to help resolve things!

I think it would be best if we got you in touch with our Support Team via our AI Assistant for this situation. They’ll be able to get you authenticated, and replicate the checkout process using the customer’s address so they can see what error they’ve been receiving. This will allow us to advise you on how to resolve the situation!

Thankyou - I’ve sorted it now :slightly_smiling_face: It was shipping weight. I googled for the answer .

Awesome to hear, @DebBrown ! Thanks for letting us know you got things sorted, and for letting us know how!
