Somebody want to tell me why Shopify thinks it is ok to charge .35% on every sale for their “collection of sales tax” starting in 2023? We are already paying crazy amounts for merchant fees as well as what we pay to the state for sales tax. Now Shopify thinks its ok to add to that??? At my $1,000,000 I made the previous year I would have to pay $3,150 in charges to them for what?!?!? To just collect sales tax numbers for us?? Something your reporting should do regardless??
