Why does Shopify keep asking me to update my Firefox browser?

Getting the “Update your internet browser” message very frequently using FF 78.5.0esr.

You’re using version 78.0 of Firefox, which is not supported by Shopify.

Try using a browser that automatically updates, like Chrome, Firefox, Opera, or Safari.

One, why in the heck is Shopify alienating modern browsers? It’s one thing not to support dinos like IE6/8/etc.

Two, it states Shopify supports the latest two versions of FF, which I am on currently, but still get the message.

I’ve cleared cache several times, etc, to no avail. This is very frustrating.

I’m having the same problem. I constantly get a message telling me to update my browser because I’m using Firefox 78.0, which is not supported by Shopify. However, I’m using 78.5.0esr. That’s the latest version; there is no update. Is there a fix for this? Very annoying.

Same problem! When i click the Firefox browser even the latest browser is not supported. Anyone knows which versions are supported?
