Why does Shopify utilize 307 redirects?

Hi @Shopify_77 ,

noticed some of websites stopped perform. After investigation find few problems could cause:

but also noticed that there is some kind of problem with multidomain. For example we have domain.COM/de and created separate domain with domain.DE and made redirects to the new one. As much as I can see after 1 year still main domain is domain.COM not .DE. As much as I can see redirects used 307(temporary redirects) I think that’s why perform not so well.
