When importing images via CSV, does each image link need its own separate line?

I just applied this technique. now both of these columns are entirely empty in my csv file. still it is showing the same error message.

For me the problem was that I had filled cells for the Image Alt Text column.
Then Shopify logically expects an Image Src as well.?‍
