Why does the hover function interfere with menu categories in the Impulse theme?

Hello! We have the impulse theme on our shop, our customers are complaining that for some menu categories, once they hover their mouse over it, the categories on the second line of the menu interferes with the hover somehow and they are unable to click or view any subcategories. I’ve moved some categories around and it has improved but I would prefer to find a code fix, it’s almost as though the second line of the menu is too close to the top line?

For example, trying to hover over stencils, the subcategories will appear but once you move your mouse, it disappears. Which is very frustrating for our shoppers.

This is only an issue on desktop view. Does anyone have any suggestions?
