Why does the wrong product variant get added to the cart sometimes?

My customers have been having a glitch with my website.

When they add to cart a variant, the variant that gets added is the first one instead of the selected one.

This only happens on some instances though. I’m guessing it may be because of slow internet (so the JavaScript is slow to respond) or the Infinite Options app which I installed recently.

I have tested it on multiple devices and it works fine:

So I think it’s the customer’s device fault, not the site fault.
