We are new to Shopify and just setting up our store. I am wondering why Shopify does not read out the XMP metadata we have embedded in our images – instead it proposes to write an Alt text, which is relevant to SEO as we. That doesn’t quite make sense to me, when there is already an Alt text embedded in the image. Any suggestions?
