Why isn’t there an option to print an invoice. The packing list that we get with Shopify only gives the very basic info. There really isn’t an invoice print option other than the print order page with too much info. I am currently paying for an app to create an invoice/packing list with all information that we need to create/fulfill the order. The free app that was I sent to by the help chat requires coding to customize it, I am unfamiliar with coding. Is there a free and user-friendly option to create an invoice/packing slip without having to code. With what I am paying for on the site, I didn’t think I would need to pay for an app just to create an invoice with all the info needed so my workers can fulfill the order.

The Shopify Order Printer app is the best free option for printing documents like invoices and packing slips. It provides default templates with essential information, but as you mentioned, customizing the templates requires editing the Liquid code. The best code-free option for customizing templates, as you also mentioned, is to install a 3rd party app from our app store, although these may come with a fee.
I’d like to understand the modifications you wish to make to the default templates. Are you looking to add or remove information, or are the changes primarily design-focused? I might be able to recommend some useful resources for modifying templates on the free Shopify Order Printer, that’s easier than you think.
I will also pass your feedback on to our product team about the need for a graphical interface to update templates.
