After I added the Pinterest app to my store, Pinterest reached out to me about advertising on their platform with a phone call and a zoom call with their representative, who is based in Utah. He is telling me that my “product IDs” do not match."
Your product IDs aren’t matching which could make it difficult for us to gather the correct data. Due to liability reasons, I’m not allowed to help you with the tag. I’m only allowed to give you resources. Basically it’s saying that your product IDs don’t match in your catalog. Since you’re shopify, there should be a lot of good resources on youtube and the internet for how to fix product IDs. I wouldn’t want to launch you out until that’s set up because I want to make sure you’re getting the proper data! Let me know when you think you can have this fixed by! From what I’ve heard from other companies I’ve worked with that had similar issues, it only takes a few minutes!
I have no idea what this is or how to fix it. I have asked Shopify Help Support twice and still no idea.
