We have been with Shopify for 3 years and have seeing a steady decrease in the access to Customer Service in regards to Help… Long holds on wait, online chat is hard to find, etc..?
Do other Shopify Users also notice similar problems. When ever there is a bug, update issue or system failure there is no communication. Put on hold or waiting on chat (once finally finding the online chat function).
The reduced customer service is frustrating. Are others having the same feelings on the continued reduction of customer service
I haven’t had to reach out to Shopify with a question or issue for a LONG time, until tonight. I hopped online to access the Chat and can’t find it. Have they done away with it after certain hours?
I am sorry to hear you’ve had some trouble accessing our support. I want to give you a very clear guide on how to access our support anytime, 24/7 so you will always have the support you need when you need it.
Our live support via phone, chat or email can be reached via our support portal here. Simply type your query into the “ask about a topic” bar, then hit continue to support to access. Here’s a video showing the steps in action. Phone support is dependant upon queues/waiting times i.e if there is a long waiting time for phone support, we will direct you to choose chat or email support instead in order to get you the support you need as fast as possible.
