I choose End of every day for payouts.
I had a sale on Wednesday and all my money is still on Shopify and hasn’t been paid out. Why is that?

Thank you for your post, I’m happy to share some more information about getting paid on Shopify.
Are you using Shopify Payments on your store? If so, the time between when your customer places an order and when the money is sent to your bank account will vary based on where you’re located (between 2 and 4 business days), and you can find your pay period here. Choosing end of every day for your payouts means that if you’re continually receiving orders, you’ll get paid daily (as opposed to once a week, or another timeframe), but that is still only after the payment goes through processing. Additionally, once the payment is sent from Shopify to your bank, it may still take your bank some time to show the money in your account (and this isn’t controlled by Shopify).
If you’re using a third-party payment processor (aka, something other than Shopify Payments), the time it takes for your payouts to be sent to your bank will vary. You can read more in this help document, and refer to documentation from your payment processor.
Could you take a screenshot of your payout (please blur any personally identifiable information) that way I can take a look and verify that everything looks correct!

Why does it take 3-4 days for Shopify payments to reach UK bank accounts, yet SUMUP offers NEXT DAY payouts in the UK… Thinking of switching over to a UK provider…

Thank you for your comment. In the UK, the pay period for Shopify Payments payouts is 3 days.
However, I’d be happy to share your feedback with our developers. I know that in the past the pay period in the UK was decreased from 4 days to 3 days because of comments like this from merchants, so I can definitely let them know what you think. I can’t guarantee that this change will be implemented, but if it is, it will be included in the Shopify Changelog, along with any other platform updates.
