Why hasn't my Paypal payment shown up after first order?

Hi, I’ve recently got my first order through Paypal. I set up the paypal account, done all confirmation but the money still hasn’t shown up in my Paypal. Is there a step i’m missing

Congratulations on your receiving your first order, that is very exciting to hear! If you have recently setup your PayPal gateway, your customers can then make purchases using the gateway. To confirm that you have a PayPal account connected, you will need to navigate to Settings > Payments > PayPal, you should see your email address for you PayPal account. I took a screenshot from my test store to show you the section I am referring to:

If you can confirm that you email address is displaying and the gateway is setup, I would suggest checking your email address to see if PayPal has reached out to your to verify some additional information before receiving your payout. If you do not have an email from PayPal, you may need to reach out to PayPal directly to gather more information to where the funds may be located. They should be able to provide you with additional support and insight to where it is in their gateway.
