It’s not typical for a new payment provider addition to be interacting with your product variants. I suspect something else has occurred here to cause your variants to disappear.

Awesome to hear that you were able to get this resolved by working with your payment provider. It’s odd that such an integration would impact your variants, but stranger things have happened!
Do you mind me asking why you were looking to use this gateway? Is your store located in a region where you’re unable to use Shopify Payments? When I usually talk to folks setting up gateways, they’re relatively new to Shopify, so I have a link to our YouTube Channel and a helpful video here in case you’re looking for some more assistance with getting things going!
