Why haven't I received payment from a dropshipping sale?

hello, a customer purchased a product, but I didn’t get any money. I do Dropshipping. I bought the product for a customer on Aliexpress, and expected the money to come soon, but it’s been more than 18 hours. please help me thank you

Yes, I added my price, the order appeared normally, but I did not receive any money, I do not know the reason for the delay in the arrival of the money, but I purchased the product via Oberlo from Ali Express to the customer

Did you manually order the product through AliExpress instead of going through Oberlo? In Oberlo, you can only place orders that have Paid payment status. I suggest you head into the Orders section of the Oberlo app and check the payment status, as shown below:

You should also be able to click on the order which will redirect you back to Shopify. To see which payment method the customer used follow the steps below:

  • From your Shopify admin, click Orders.

  • Find the order.

  • Scroll down to the Timeline, here you will be able to see all payment attempts and whether they were successful, as shown below:

If you capture your payments manually in Shopify, then you need to mark your order as paid in Shopify. You can also configure your payment capture settings to automatically capture payments in Shopify.

Steps:

  • From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Payments.

  • In the Payment capture section, select Automatically capture payments for orders to capture payments automatically.

  • Click Save.
