Hi everyone,
One thing I keep seeing with influencer campaigns is this:
Traffic spikes.
Clicks look great.
Sales… don’t always follow.
High traffic doesn’t automatically mean high intent.
Sometimes it’s audience mismatch.
Sometimes it’s weak landing experience.
Sometimes it’s creators driving curiosity, not buying intent.
For store owners here:
What helped you turn influencer traffic into actual customers?
Would love to hear what worked and what didn’t.
Hi @hamza4_1, The key lies in whether the product you’re selling and the influencer are a good fit, and whether that influencer can represent the voice of the product. We’ve seen many campaigns bring strong traffic but low sales simply because the audience didn’t truly need the product. Relevance usually matters more than reach.
For example, a famous gamer shouldn’t be an influencer for a product aimed at housewives. The conversion rate wouldn’t be good, I guess
It also helps to guide creators to show real use cases instead of just quick promotion, buyers respond better to authenticity than curiosity. When the fit is right and the store is ready, conversions tend to follow naturally.
Hope this helps
Hi there @hamza4_1 from my knowledge and experience, the main key with influencer marketing is what is their verifiable track record of followers purchasing stuff they’ve posted or endorsed and whether those products are in your line or industry.
A person could have a track record of their followers buying food that they tweet or make videos about, but that might not mean much if it’s designer bags you’re looking to push to an audience. There has to be a baseline understanding fundamentally first.
